This sweet smile belongs to Rebecca. She is 14 years old, and in Primary 7 (that is like 6th grade for my American friends).

Rebecca is one of six children. She has four older sisters and a younger brother. She told me that her favorite subject is English, and she hopes to continue with school and become either a musician or a lawyer.

Here in Uganda P7 is a very important year in school. The students take major exams that determine whether or not they will be able to go to Secondary school. The beautiful smile you see here has made rare appearances lately. She has been quite stressed with these exams. On top of that, her family has been unable to pay her fees and have accumulated some significant debt. All of this stress has been obviously impacting Rebecca.

Would you please join me in praying for Rebecca? Pray that God would raise up a sponsor to help her with school, in order to give her the future she is dreaming of. Pray that she would perform well on her exams. Pray that she would find peace and comfort in Jesus Christ.
