Pretending to be a Kindergarten Teacher

We have one boy at The Shepherd Center who only goes to school in the morning.

I’ve decided to give him extra lessons in the afternoons.

He’s never been to school before.

He writes his A’s upside down. (Not anymore.)

We are learning the alphabet.

We have a language barrier.

But we pretend that we don’t.

He had never used a crayon before.

We’ve become friends.

Any thoughts?
